I am going to start sounding like an obsessed fan if I keep going on about how much I love these musicians I blog about so I am just going to do it this one last time (for now… ;) ) Valeri Lopez… get her & her banjo together and you are transported to heaven. She has one of my favorite voices ever… the first time I heard her voice flowing through my house as she was singing in the shower I had to stop myself from locking her in there (kidding!)… it was, in a word (or two).. freaking amazing. Just as she is. Check her out, buy her album & then wait patiently for her new one (which she is recording soon- YAY!). We got to go out and play a bit earlier this month and here’s what we came up with :)
Music. It takes me up. down. in. out. Brings smiles… tears. My days-memories-thoughts.. they all have soundtracks. And there are artists that stop me in my tracks. Their lyrics & sounds are so vivid and full of emotion that I can actually feel their story in my heart. Amy Seeley would be one of those artists. I’ve watched her perform countless times. Sat with her over drinks.. laughed & cried over life. And still.. when I hear her music come out of my speakers, I am in awe. So when I opened my mailbox the other day and there was a beautiful little package with a handwritten note and wrapped up in a lovely bow, my heart skipped a beat. Her latest ‘eight belles’ were there. In all their loveliness.. and, lucky you, all you have to do is click here & they can be yours ;) Enjoy…
