this girl. this girl has been a blessing. a gift. a teacher. a friend. a beautiful heart and eyes that have allowed me to see the world in only a way the heart can see it.
She has been exhaustingly, passionately creating her new album these past few months. And, in order to bring it to all of you, she needed a few images. I got to the be the lucky girl that took them ;)

Kathy and I had the great pleasure of being asked to photograph them when they were in town playing with Tyrone Wells.
Jason Reeves & Billy Hawn… (first things first, click those links!!) I adore their music. Adore. And, well, after getting to know them I can say that I adore them just as much. They are their music. What it means, how it feels, what it represents… and they are just crazy enough to be a ton of fun as well ;)

Casey Warren: Shannon, To put it simply. This shoot rocks. I love the Polaroids, love the vintage typewriter, and LOVE LOVE LOVE the editing. Its all connected.
