What do you get when you take five little girls and anything pink you can get your hands on? Pretty much the giggliest, bubble gum sweetest, most fun shoot you can ask for :) We went out last week to shoot Knuckleheads girl’s line, Hula Mula, for the upcoming catalog. I was in pink heaven :)
I can’t believe it has been a year already. My favorite baby in the whole wide world just turned one so it was time to do a little shoot to celebrate the occasion. She wasn’t a big fan of the whole experience but, being that she is also the cutest baby in the world, the camera loved her just the same ;)
Jamie Sampson: GORGEOUS! You are so amazingly talented! Everytime I see your work I am impressed and amazed and inspired! Super cute little girl, I love the colors and light and your perspective! YOU ROCK! SHANNON SEWELL ROCKS! (06.22.2008 10:48am)

Willow: u had me with the chucks!! lovin the hamock and of course the circles. that one with her finger in her mouth is so cute, she looks like she is contemplating her next pretty girl party and wondering who she should invite and which one of her pretty girl dresses she is going to wear :) i love the way you pair images... (06.22.2008 06:24pm)
janice: i haven't seen angie in awhile and she looks great. of course, chase is cute as a button. truly, the family pic is one of my fave family pics of your's ever. do i need to say what a great shoot? from now on, you can just assume that for every shoot. i'm your biggest fan. i also love that i will always be able to say i was your first professional client. how cool am i? :) --janice (06.22.2008 07:06pm)

At the beginning of the month I had the fantastic opportunity to fly down to Texas to have a little one on one mentoring session with the completely sweet & wonderful Jonette of Magnolia Flair Photography. We covered so much ground… we planned a shoot, scouted locations, talked about marketing, packaging (she has some adorable packaging in the works), post production, equipment… it was just a whole day and a half of all things photography! It is always fun to talk shop but, I have to say, it was so invigorating & refreshing to spend time with someone that is just starting out and still so excited by it all. Thank you so much Jonette for inviting me down and allowing me to play in your world for a bit. I had a blast :)
Here are some images from our shoot we did. A fellow photographer/friend of Jonette’s, Misty, was sweet enough to bring her adorable children and mom along for our fun little shoot ;)
If anyone is interested in one of these one on ones, just give me a holler so we can talk. I would love to meet up with you!
Here is Jonette doing what she does best. She is FANTASTIC with kids…

I love the song 'Me' on your website, big Paula Cole fan. I am running a workshop in September, I'd love a guest speaker such as yourself. If only the States weren't nearer!! P.s Loved your Amy Seeley shoot. (06.11.2008 01:18pm)

I have received many wonderful comments and emails asking me where I got my new blog… sooo, I wanted to give a long overdue thanks & props to TJ Cameron. He was wonderful, patient and completely sweet to take on this project for me. He spent countless hours, dealt with my crazy quirks (I don’t think he realized he would be stuck with me for the long haul on this one ;) haha) and he did a fabulous job :)
So BIG, HUGE thank you!!!!
And just cause I have to post some pictures, here are some shots I took of him last year. He wouldn’t let me post them then but I think the statute of limitation is up ;)…
Kathy Carlisle: If he would have let you put them up a year ago, then he would have had a date long before this. Killer shots of him..especially the ones on the stairwell. Really great job on the blog TJ! (06.08.2008 07:14pm)
stephanie mcbride: i think he should be overjoyed over these, yum, he's a cutie (can i say cutie?) love the blog-im definately due for an overhaul on mine. always nice to check in and see what you are up too. (06.08.2008 07:29pm)
wrecklessgirl: super cute boy--so cute i didn't even hear a word you said. so wait...where were we? did you actually say something? (06.08.2008 11:59pm)
janice: i don't want to just continue the comments of drooling over this guy, but, yeah, i don't get it. why wouldn't he want these posted? i haven't been one of the many to comment on the new blog (i don't think?) but, yeah, really like it. as you know, i'm a photographer blog stalker (you're the only one who's actually my friend!), so i look at many, many of these every day--i love how easy it is to go through your's. but, it's not surprising, since you've been the best at what you do since you started photography!! great job to both of you. --janice (06.09.2008 02:07am)
corey civetta: The new blog looks great!! Congrats! Love the photos of TJ, too. He's crazy for not wanting them posted! (06.10.2008 04:43am)

Shannon Sewell you are one talented chick! Please tell Mr. Goodlooking that he is very good looking! (06.10.2008 08:11am)
TJ: glad people are diggin' the blog. thanks again for the rad photo's. not sure why you wanted so long to post them...? :) and uh, i'm kinda blushing from the kind comments :) tj (06.10.2008 10:08pm)
