This was one of those shoots that they step out of the car and I let out an audible ‘YESSSS…’. These girls were abso-freakin-lutely adorable! They are both dancers/performers so they knew how to move, pose, completely relate to the camera. Ah.. heaven ;)
The awesome Melanie was mentoring with me that day and she did such an amazing job getting her beautiful niece & friend all styled & ready for the session. Melanie, Kristin & I had such a fabulous day chatting & shooting… I think I could have kept going through to the next day! haha
Anyway, thank you ladies.. I really had the best time and feel so, so lucky to be having such amazing experiences :)
I am back from my marathon mentoring sessions in Dallas… 4 fabulously lovely ladies in two days. My first day there I met with Rachel & Kristin. We hung out in a coffee shop, chatted, braved the SUPER super coldness (didn’t even know Texas could get that cold!).. Our poor little models were absolute troopers pushing through frozen fingers & noses and they still looked this adorable through it all… ;)

So… mentoring seems to be taking over my schedule. I have had five consults in the last month and, I gotta admit, I am kinda totally & completely loving it! Most people that I meet with are pretty new to their business and it is such a great feeling to be brought back to those days. The newness & excitement of it all. I love seeing where they are and KNOWING where they will be in a year or two’s time. While I am there to inspire and share what I know, each time I get to leave feeling more inspired and excited about it all as well. Jenny came up to see me at the beginning of the year and we got to do our thing. I am so excited she already has her new blog up and will soon be getting a website (hint, hint ;) haha). Anyway, we had a blast and I feel so blessed to meet such wonderful people. It’s a good thing I got going ;)
