What do you get when you have 24 hours to style, plan, locate, cast & travel 1000 miles to a shoot? Well, you get some speed shopping (my specialty), too many phone calls to count, fabulous people jumping in to help at a moments notice (thank you, thank you, thank YOU!!!), a quick little plane ride, a lovely scouting drive down the PCH and finally… a couple minutes to relax and catch your breath (well more like huff breath into three life preservers) til you have three adorably perfect little surfer kids standing in front of you (whew- still can’t believe Jen & I pulled it off!)
Does it get much cuter than this??
This is my new niece. She is perfect. And this is just the very first of her MANY photo shoots.
Can ya keep a secret? yeah? Good. I’m thinking about stealing her- shhhh… ;)

I have photographed this lovely lady before.. and her sister.. and on my most recent trip to Cali, her cousin. And I have to say, if you get your choice in what gene pool to jump into, I’d pick this one. They are AMAZINGLY beautiful. and sweet. and adorable. and lovely. and.. and.. and.. well you get the point ;) Let’s just say- getting them in front of my camera makes me look like a much better photographer…
