I know you work with a good amount of older kids (as it appears on your blog), any chance you would be willing to share a tip on how to get a 15 year old to smile? I have a client with older kids and I have only done up to kindergarten. Does silly still work? Thanks Shannon! (09.22.2009 09:28pm)

Eryn Kesler: Hi Shannon, I'm sure you get this all the time, but your blog is SO inspiring. I'm about one year into seriously photographing (as in, people are paying me to do it!) I read your blog, and see you often mention mentoring. I live in Vancouver, WA also. I'm sure you get tons of requests, but what does one do to get in on a mentoring session with you? I'm sure there's a fee for your service and I'm guessing a long waitlist, but I would still love to know for the future. You are truly amazing and inspiring! I come back often, just for inspiration! Eryn (09.21.2009 09:21pm)
cindy cieluch: there's something about that last one of the boy that is just soooooo sweet. what a cute family! (09.24.2009 10:49pm)

Kathy Carlisle: Holy Layers, Batman!!! Drew is looking handsome as ever. I LOVE the smiling one. It is so him and the smile is contagious. I also love the one right after that is the "bored with picture time", but comes across as sheer magazine bliss. The one with the hands makes me weak and I think it will be HUGE one day in one or both of their homes....which in turn will be your home, since you will be living with them well into senior citizen days;) I love this shoot because it shows your beautiful heart. Thanks for sharing. K (09.29.2009 10:46pm)
KaraRL: Oh my goodness isn't he handsome! These are absolutely precious and I know you will treasure them forever! So my question to you is...does he do whatever you ask with out arguing/fussing? He looks like the perfect model! Watch out...those girls will be calling! :) (09.30.2009 07:04am)
Dad: I love the hair, kind of has a Japanese anime look it ;). I'm seeing big things in his future, modeling, acting, comedy, you name it. Someone should sign this kid up at Puddletown. (09.30.2009 01:52pm)
Jamie Sampson: he is growing like a weed! :) Every time I see his pictures he looks different!!!! He is very handsome and your photography rocks, like always. I totally miss you, how's it going? (09.30.2009 02:56pm)
Ang: Drew! You little stud-lette you! Chase says "Lookin' slick cuz!" (09.30.2009 06:57pm)
Casia Fletcher: 'happy faces'...way clever! What a stud muffin. (10.01.2009 08:46am)
Uncle M: Long time stalker...first time commentor. Drew...you are the man. Shannon, you are the wo-man. Since I am not around much to see them grow up, it is always nice to see the kids in pictures and marvel at how big they are getting. Keep 'em coming. (10.02.2009 08:05am)
Willow: omg the one with him smiling looking up...i'm in love :) (10.03.2009 07:22pm)
cindy cieluch: I have to agree with my girls Kathy and Willow: the one of him smiling is just a heart-melter! And the hands/faces one is hysterical and brilliant! It looks like the cover of a beautiful greeting card. (10.04.2009 01:04am)
~abi~: seriously SWEET session! :) (10.27.2009 01:18pm)
