I am coming up on two years now that I have been doing my mentoring/consults and I have had the opportunity to meet with so many people and talk about so many different subjects- cover the gamut of business, passion, goals, eh um.. shopping ;) & everything in between. Something that has been brought up more than anything else though are my ‘concept’ shoots- how I come up with the idea, how I go about styling them, location scouting, finding models… so I decided to try something a little different. Instead of doing a full or half day mentoring- Celeste, Tami and I got together for the sole purpose of shooting one of these sessions. I did my thing, explained my process & they showed up for a fun afternoon of shooting for their porfolios. The AMAZING wardrobe was provided by Eden’s Bouquet (seriously some of the most intricate, beautiful pieces EVER). We lucked out with beautiful spring weather and some of the most adorable little models I could have asked for… yep, dreamy shoot…

Part 2:
The second day of our session was an amazing shoot styled by Tina Gill. She and I met thru Twitter and I can not say enough fabulous things about her. She was the perfect partner in crime… excited, passionate & coordinator extraordinaire. She brought Sameera (our talented & beautiful hair & make-up artist) and a gorgeous wardrobe by Fallene (watch for her designs on Project Runway!!) that, along with our stunning model Rose, made for such an incredibly fun shoot that really only the pictures can do it justice ;) Thank you SOOO much guys… it was a blast!

I’m home. It might not sound like that big of a deal but after 10 days it feels oh so good… I started my adventure with several days in Vegas attending WPPI. It’s the time each year to go see amazing photographers, friends & favorite faces. Highly recommended for all ;) This year though, instead of coming home and crashing for several days… I touched down long enough to unload the suitcase & pack a new one so I could fly off to Denver to meet two more new friends. Whitley, Jennifer & I hung out for a couple of days at the Aloft talking about photography, business & passion. I really do love these days meeting amazing new people and talking about what we love. Thank you ladies! Best part? This time we got to do two shoots…
