I have fallen off the give-away bandwagon… but I am back :) Still several little gems in my arsenal…
First though, wanna show off an amazing little beach spot that we found during the hours & hours of time on the beach in Cali. The perfect day definitely includes at least an hour by the ocean…
The whole time I was shooting/editing I couldn’t help but sing one of my favorites from my friend Amy… (this is a must in the music library)
“wreckage of a great ship
once with sails of canvas
now we’re made of losses and arguments
wasn’t like we planned it
i’m wrecklessly candid
we set sail from what we thought were our best lands
you and your new apartment
i’m held up in basements
pull the curtains closer be my eyes blankets
you and your new acquaintance
i’m held up in basements
sign away the former with your favorite pen
wreckage of a good ship
you in your life jacket
i was holding on for dear life in my party dress
you’re so put together
but i’m another planet
a planet now unsure of finding new oceans
you’re so put together
but i’m another planet
a planet now unsure of finding new oceans”
*I also wanted to announce that I just opened up registration for Minneapolis this morning. You can register here :)
And, last but not least, the give away!! Going to give away this cute little size 6 butterfly romper from Zozo to the first person that can tell me which of Amy’s songs the line “typical, isn’t it typical that someone like me would invite you in” comes from.
Happy in the sun today… hope everyone is having a great week!
