Happy Labor Day! This weekend has always meant the last of summer and the return to school (insert sad face). This year though, we won’t be going back anywhere as I am jumping into home schooling. We have all of our supplies, we are all organized (which somehow always makes everything manageable) and we are ready! I’d love to hear any tips and tricks from veterans out there (especially anyone local that has any must do activities or programs)- I am just as ready to learn as the kids are :) Pretty excited about the lack of sad faces around here too ;)
This time of year also means Senior sessions (which are always such a nice break from kid sessions- someone that listens and does everything you say? no acrobats or animal sounds? I almost feel guilty at how effortless it is! haha). This lovely lady is actually the little sister to a Senior I shot way back in the early years of my business (hard to believe I’ve been in business 7 years!) and I absolutely adore the fact that they came back to me for this occasion. There is just something so cool about documenting families through the years. Gorgeous, gorgeous girl with a personality to match…

Roxana: Really beautiful senior photography. And they do listen to your suggestions. Not so sure about acrobats and animal sounds... those are really fun! ;) (09.04.2012 06:27am)
Frances: Exciting news! I follow a blog, bleubird vintage, and she started homeschooling last year. She recently posted their new schedule and how she breaks up the lessons on a weekly basis. Good luck. (09.04.2012 02:16pm)
Kara Layfield: She's gorgeous - such a beautiful smile! (09.04.2012 03:49pm)
Kathy: These are beautiful! And you can tell that you are mainly a kid photographer, if only because of how many AMAZING shots you are showing, in poses that you can't pull off with kids. It must have been amazing...especially with someone gorgeous like her! And good luck with homeschooling! (09.04.2012 07:40pm)
Annette: Beautiful - Thanks for such a great session! (09.05.2012 04:33pm)
