We just returned from a whirlwind trip through California, Arizona and New Mexico (you can follow most of my adventures on my Instagram- shannonlsewell). I have this incredibly long list of ‘must sees’ so whenever travel is needed I go to my list and try to fit in whatever is within (semi-reasonable) driving distance. After our trip through Arizona and Utah last year (here)… I have been chomping at the bit to get back and explore the things that were out of reach that time. 8 days worth of 5 photo shoots, 24 hours of driving (not including the flight to L.A. to start it all) and a different city every night has left me the most wonderful type of exhausted. We saw amazingly beautiful places (that continue to be on the list cause I have to go back), met wonderful new friends and made the best new memories.
Our first stop on the road was Palm Springs… one of my favorite vacation spots from the pre-kid years ;) I got to meet up with Maranda (who took my Define School class- so great meeting someone in person that you have gotten to know online. Loved her and her fab family.) :) We played around the Ace and a local empty lot (could not get enough of how great her kids are)…
