I have spent the last two weeks traveling around the country hanging out with amazing women, talking passion, photographing cute little models… I am home a little more tired (in a good way), a little more tanned (thankfully the sun followed to every city- except home. but ya can’t have everything, right?) and ready to tackle all new projects with the inspiration of all these fantastic photographers behind me.
My first stop was Virginia (& the first time I have ever visited our capitol… yay!). So grateful to Traci for opening up her heart and home to us and making it possible for us to share such a great day!

And just cause I don’t really know how to post without pictures and I am trying my very best to get through this last session before I leave, I thought I’d share a little sneak peek at my latest session. She is my very favorite red head in the entire world (wouldn’t you just die for this color hair??). She holds a very special place in my heart (can’t believe it’s already been two years since this session…). And I have to show off her sweet & adorable baby sister… ;)

Oh how I miss living on the mountain… there is something about FEET of snow. Housebound, cocoa, fire roaring… taking the 4×4 out to play in the barren streets. Yeah… now I get excited when we get this…

And to keep the giving going… I have more goodies to give you all!! I have a newborn version of the LION HAT made by Lexicam Studios. This thing is adorable. Aaaaand a super cute headband from Lady Knitster- this baby one!! I am a big fan of the It Starts With Us mission (check them out here). There mission this week is ‘For the next 7 days, do something very small but consistent for one person.‘ (**Ideas: a simple text message, email, facebook post, etc, just letting the person know you care about them and they are loved. And that’s just for the online folks.) :) I’m gonna trust you to do this so all you have to do is make a promise to act on this in your comment and let me know which item you’d like to have… I’ll pick a winner on Friday!!

Triple 7 Shootout Set TWO!! I’m kinda prejudice when it comes to this one… my AMAZING clients flew all the way from Portland to model (& yeah, gotta say… I’ve trained them very, very well) ;) Not to mention that my freakin’ super talented friend Vanessa from butterflyspArks designed this set for us.
