I don’t know how many of you readers are from the local area but man… the last few days have made for GORGEOUS mornings. It has been cold cold but the blue skies, the icy frost covering everything, sun glistening… I have kicked myself every morning because I haven’t taken the time to take a picture. So this morning, I kicked my procrastinating rear and I did it. It didn’t really capture how cool it looked, but the fact that I actually took my camera out outside of a scheduled session is a big enough deal that I am going to share the results anyway ;) (but trust me… it really is a lovely, wintery wonderland)

I was sitting in Starbucks this morning with my little girl. We were sipping warm drinks and listening to Christmas music playing… it is coooold outside… it all just combined and hit me like nothing but nostalgia can. I just sat being so thankful for all the holiday seasons I’ve had, all the ones to come. It really is a time of year that makes me the most sappy- so much giving, coziness, beautiful lights twinkling every place you turn and, most importantly, guaranteed time with your loved ones. I know it can be a stressful time of the year as well… I just wish for all of you at least a few moments where you can relish in how amazing this time of the year is and all it represents. Maybe I can help a bit? I have a lovely little arsenal of fun goodies that I am going to start giving out. Some of them can be a present to yourself (cause you deserve it) and some will make fabulous gifts. I am going to try to do one a day- aiming for a 12 Days of Christmas vibe ;). The best way to watch for them though is to follow my twitter (my twitter feeds my FB so you guys over there should get updated too!). I’ll announce each one there! I’ll do the first one today so keep an eye out!!
