This was a little impromptu shoot I did a while back for Matilda Jane Clothing that I never got around to sharing. I’m heading off tomorrow with the team (including these two little cuties) for another shoot so I thought it would be a fun time to show you all ;)

We took a road trip last fall through the SW and I have a whole group of images that I haven’t even shared yet! I was really excited that a few of them were picked up by Teresa & Thomas Magazine and just released (which is just the push I needed to start sharing) ;) The magazine is absolutely beautiful (you can buy your copy here)…
It was one of my top favorite places I’ve photographed… magical.

We just finished up a big weekend of shooting for MJC… fun people, amazing locations and adorable little models. Two of our models flew up from L.A. to be with us so before they flew off Monday we headed out for quick little playdate with the camera. Both of these little girls were so full of giggles and sweetness… such a delight to spend three days with them (& now just another excuse to head back to Cali sooner) ;)
Beautiful girls…

It is time for another round of “what ______ look like” and a fabulous round of inspiring photography. This month I did “what playing looks like”… and play for me is heading out with a group of friends and being able to create and have fun and, well… play!! Julie had an amazing idea to do a fun shoot with hanging windows… she grabbed some dresses that Kim had already made (you saw one here and the other will post soon!) and altered them a bit… and Michelle did hair… and we headed out! This time Julie and I switched equipment (she took my always-on-my-camera-85 and I got to play with her Lensbaby Composer and Edge 80- yay!!) It was totally out of my comfort zone focusing and doing everything manually but it was amazingly fun to just be able to have fun and not worry about how it turned out! (highly recommended activity) ;)

summer murdock: wow..these are just stunning, dreamy, beautiful. Love that shot of the gal walking off and you catch her dirty heel...the contrast of the dresses, barefeet and tousled hair is perfection! (05.06.2013 09:51am)
amy grace: the way everything in the world seems to fall away, and then you make a new one. what a dreamily beautiful first time with a lensbaby. i can hardly believe it. and the whole feeling of the shoot, the windows, the focus, the fairy tale, is so perfectly suited to the look you've created. your joy is all over these. amazing.
