This month I am sharing a bit of what my adventures on the road look like… they always involve lots of driving, lots of stopping and some pictures here & there to try and capture it all. I met up with clients in Monterey/Carmel/Big Sur, headed over for some time in Yosemite and finished up with a little visit to SF & wine country- pretty much as much as this girl could fit in to six days ;)
Please see the rest of the amazing “what ______ looks like” circle by visiting Amy Grace at A Beautiful Life Photo.

We took a road trip last fall through the SW and I have a whole group of images that I haven’t even shared yet! I was really excited that a few of them were picked up by Teresa & Thomas Magazine and just released (which is just the push I needed to start sharing) ;) The magazine is absolutely beautiful (you can buy your copy here)…
It was one of my top favorite places I’ve photographed… magical.

For as much as I just really don’t feel at home on social media, there are times when I just can’t imagine life without it. In a matter of a couple hours I was handed a photographer that suggested a rad location (not to mention actually DRIVING us there), two gorgeous little models and one of the most fun, random, last minute shoots that I have done in a long time! Kim and I were in Las Vegas for a fun family shoot for Nonna Bambini (you can see some of their beauty on my FB page) and, in true fashion, we got distracted by cool props and locations and did a little shoot on the side just for fun ;)
Jenny – I can’t thank you enough for providing us the opportunity for our little adventure. Heather & Joey- thank you for having such perfect little ladies to make it all come together! Such a great day… :)

Last fall I did a little road trip through California and parts of the SW… it’s been a while but I am so excited I get to start sharing some of these shoots with you!
You can see this first one in the latest issue of Babiekins Magazine here. I met up with the sweetest little model in Joshua Tree National Park and we played dress up for a bit…
Kim and I are working together a lot more and designing custom pieces for all our shoots. In an effort to keep storage to a minimum, we are going to start offering pieces up for sale. The bustled skirt here is available if you are interested. It will fit anywhere from a girl’s size 6 to 10 (it was made to be adjustable and also as a photography piece- made to look good on camera, not for day to day wear) ;) Please email me if you are interested! shannon@shannonsewell.com
